First time Clients - $30.00 for one hour (Leave extra time the first time you come to fill out some information and for some orientation.)

When you come, you can expect to receive a professional, therapeutic, respectful, and reasonably priced massage. I am CA State Certified and a Professional Member of the ABMP. I have been doing massage for over 25 years and still find fulfillment in tapping into the healing power of massage. To help you "take the plunge" to come for the first time, I only charge $30 for the first full hour massage.  From then on, it is $50.00 for an hour and $70.00 for an hour and a half.

The "Therapy" part of Massage Therapy is sometimes misunderstood. "Therapy" comes from the Greek word  for healing that is used in the New Testament (θερεπευ). The goal of massage is to promote the natural healing power of the body. Sometimes that means that you will just feel great afterwards and sometimes it is more specific. People, who have had massages from me, afterward say things like: "This is the best I've felt in a long time!" or "I wish I could have one of these every day!"

In my 25 years of doing massage therapy, I have seen all kinds of  healing happen. I recall one woman who came to me and who could only move her right arm six inches in any direction. The doctors wanted to do surgery on her that would have, in my opinion, left her with only partial use of that arm and chronic pain. She agreed to try massage therapy for a month. She was so much better by then that she wanted to continue. At the end of two months, she had regained full use of that arm and had no pain whatsoever. From my background in counselling, I also helped her resolve some emotional issues that were contributing to her physical issues. She got her life back!

I use a number of different modalities in my practice -- Swedish Massage, which is the foundation of all western massage therapies, Esalen Massage, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Western Trigger Point Therapy, Counter Strain, Prenatal and Postnatal Massage, Infant Massage, Carpal Tunnel Massage, Joint Massage, Neuromuscular Re-education, and some lymphatic massage. I'd like to add a special word about Pre-Natal Massage: I have  the training and experience; but I also have the special equipment to do this massage for you right through all nine months in a way that is comfortable and safe for you and your baby. It is health promoting and it feels great!

I look forward to welcoming all of you!
